Bus Rules
In order that the bus ride to and from school may be safe, the following rules must be followed:
- Students take seats on a first come first serve basis. - Students who need to sit at a window seat that is blocked by a person seated in on the aisle will politely alert that person so that they can easily pass by them to move to the available seat. - Respond quickly to the driver’s instructions. - Remain seated. -Keep noise at a low level. - Keep hands, feet, and all belongings to yourself. - Use of seat belts is encouraged. Students who do not follow the above bus rules will be reported in writing by the bus driver to the principal or assistant principal. The consequence of misbehavior may range from a warning, to a suspension from riding the bus, to suspension from school. All school rules apply while students are riding the bus. |
Recess Rules
· Use playground equipment correctly and return borrowed equipment.
· Stay in assigned areas. · Respond quickly to whistle. · Stop, look and follow directions. · Always stay where a monitor can see you. · Stay outside fenced in areas. · Stay away from any construction areas. · Always show good sportsmanship. · Line up quickly and quietly at the end of recess. |
Cafeteria Rules
AM Cafeteria
1. When entering the cafeteria, go directly to your seat and remain in it. 2. Keep your voice low at all times. 3. Bring a book to read or work to do. (No electronic items are allowed in school.) 4. You need to ask an adult to leave the cafeteria. LUNCH Cafeteria 1. Follow directions the first time they are given. 2. Clean up your lunch area after eating. 3. Remain seated at the table you have chosen. 4. Pushing and cutting in the lunch line are not allowed. 5. Do not lend money to, or borrow money from, other students. 6. Do not sell candy or snacks you have brought from home. 7. Speak kindly to others. 8. You need to ask an adult for permission to leave the cafeteria for any reason. 9. Wait for your table to be dismissed. 10. Stop, look, and listen when lights are turned off. |
